We have created the brochure Safe Sailing – A Practical Guide, designed for everyone who experiences the sea as both freedom and responsibility.
The guide was developed to make the new Maritime Safety Regulations, issued by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure, accessible and easy to understand. It clearly explains rules for swimmer safety, diving, anchoring, and other important situations at sea, all presented in a practical and clear manner.
Croatia, as a leading nautical destination, emphasizes safety at sea as a key advantage for nautical tourism. Our training builds awareness for protecting the sea, keeping everyone safe, and promoting responsible behavior at sea.
Safe Sailing is intended for everyone navigating the Adriatic – from recreational sailors to professionals.

The brochure features a photograph of St. Nicholas Fortress in Šibenik and the Šibenik Channel, highlighting both the rich nautical heritage and scenic beauty of the Croatian coast, as well as the importance of navigating these historic and bustling waters safely.
The entire Safe Sailing promotional campaign was supported by the Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Board and the Šibenik City Tourist Board, further emphasizing local involvement in raising safety standards and promoting responsible behavior at sea.
Such collaboration is important as it combines education, tourism development, and sea preservation, positioning Croatia as a destination that not only offers beautiful nautical experiences but also cares about the safety of its visitors.
