Scope (Target audience):
This course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section VI/3 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 2.03. Course provides training at an advanced level for all officers.
Objective:
After successful completion of the course the trainees should have a better understanding of controlling fire fighting operations aboard vessel, the effects of fire fighting water on ship stability, organizing and training fire parties and investigating and compiling reports on incidents involving fire.

Basic Safety Training certificate
