A UNESCO World Heritage city where the Krka River meets the Adriatic Sea — and the home of Adria Libar since 1989. With over a thousand years of maritime heritage, Šibenik is a natural base for seafarer training.
Our main training centre sits directly on the waterfront at Uvala Sv. Petar, giving trainees immediate access to open-water training grounds alongside classroom instruction. The city connects easily by road from Split (1h), Zadar (1h), and Zagreb (3.5h), with Split Airport the nearest international gateway.
Between sessions, the medieval old town, St. James Cathedral, and Krka National Park waterfalls are all within easy reach.

Can I take courses at different Adria Libar centres?
Yes. Many trainees combine centres depending on dates and convenience. Your training record stays with Adria Libar wherever you train, and our advisors can plan a schedule across centres.
What are your opening hours?
All five centres are open Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00. Course sessions may start earlier or finish later, depending on the programme; your centre confirms the timetable.
How do I enrol in a course?
Call any of our centres, send an enquiry through our contact page, or email us. A training advisor helps with course choice, dates and certificate requirements. We usually reply within 24 hours on working days.
What training facilities are there in Šibenik?
Šibenik is our largest centre. It has 14 classrooms, a Nautical Lab, full-mission bridge simulators (Transas Wärtsilä ECDIS 4000 and NTPRO 5000 with ARPA radar and weather modelling), and a waterfront training ground with an enclosed lifeboat and davit launch system, life rafts and a fire-fighting training container.
Where is the Šibenik training centre?
Our main centre is at Ulica Jelenka Brnića Boće 5, in the Uvala Sv. Petar area of Šibenik, on the waterfront. Split Airport is about an hour away by car, and Šibenik is about 1 hour from Zadar and Split and 3.5 hours from Zagreb by motorway.
