Šibenik, Croatia
A UNESCO World Heritage city where the Krka River meets the Adriatic Sea — and the home of Adria Libar since 1989. With over a thousand years of maritime heritage, Šibenik is a natural base for seafarer training.
Our main training centre sits directly on the waterfront at Uvala Sv. Petar, giving trainees immediate access to open-water training grounds alongside classroom instruction. The city connects easily by road from Split (1h), Zadar (1h), and Zagreb (3.5h), with Split Airport the nearest international gateway.
Between sessions, the medieval old town, St. James Cathedral, and Krka National Park waterfalls are all within easy reach.

Question: What documents do I need to bring for my course?

Our training advisors will confirm the exact requirements when you enrol.

Question: Are your STCW certificates recognised internationally?
Answer: Yes. All Adria Libar courses are approved by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure and by the Croatian Register of Shipping. Our certificates are also recognised by international flag state administrations including the Marshall Islands, Liberia, and the Belgian Maritime Authority. Training is fully compliant with STCW Convention, IMO model courses, SOLAS, and MARPOL requirements.
