Scope (Target audience):
This model course aims to provide the PSSR STCW for candidates to launch and take charge of a refresher Personal safety and social responsibilities, in accordance with requirements of Regulation VI/1, Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-4 of the STCW Code as amended and IMO Model Course 1.21.
Objective:
After successful completion of the Personal survival techniques training the trainee will be able to demonstrate competency to comply with objectives of personal survival techniques, take precautions to prevent pollution of the marine environment, observe safe working practices, understand orders and be understood in relation to shipboard duties and contribute to effective human relationship on board ship.
Course content:

Personal safety and social responsibilities certificate
