Scope (Target audience): STCW course has been designed to meet the requirements of the ISPS Code sections A/2.1.7 and A/11 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 3.20.
Course is open to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Company Security Officer.
Objective: After successful completion of the course the trainees will be able to identify behavior patterns of individuals likely to threaten security, detecting weapons, utilizing security equipment and systems and ensuring that the ship security plan is modified.
