Scope (Target audience):
Hazardous atmosphere training courses from Adria Libar – equip employees and contractors with the knowledge and skills to design equipment or operate safely in the industry. The program can be tailored to specific shipping company operations.
Objective:
This course has been prepared in accordance to IMO Resolution A.1050(27) Revised Recommendations for entering enclosed spaces aboard ships, and IMO Guidelines MSC.1/Circ. 1401 Tank Entry for Tankers using Nitrogen as an inerting medium.

- Introduction to Hazardous Atmospheres & Explosion Protection Techniques
- Hazardous Area Products – QA System Planning
- Risk Assessment and Hazardous Area Classification
- Safe Use of Electricity in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres & Intrinsic Safety
- Training for operating Gas Equipment

After successful completion of the course candidates will receive a Hazardous Atmosphere Training certificate.
