Scope (Target audience):
This course is intended to provide the knowledge required for seafarers with designated security duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan to perform their duties in accordance with requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code and section A-VI/6 of the STCW as amended.Course is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 3.26.
Objective:
Upon successful completion of the course the candidates will be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge to undertake the duties under Ship Security Plan.
