The primary objective of this training program is to equip aspiring hostesses with the expertise and confidence to handle independent tasks during a charter week on smaller yachts, sailing boats, and catamarans with up to two crew members.

Led by a seasoned skipper and an experienced head hostess, this hands-on training is conducted directly on board. Participants will gain practical knowledge in job organization, task management, and delivering exceptional service, ensuring they are fully prepared to excel in the competitive world of luxury yachting.

Objective: 
The main purpose of this training is to prepare hostesses for independent tasks performing during a charter week on smaller yachts, sailing boats and catamarans with up to two crew members. The training is organized on a boat with a systematization of the job and the organization of the tasks, led by an experienced skipper and the lead hostess.

DAY 1 (Training Center, Marina, Boat, Navigation)

  • Hostess Briefing
  • Approaching the Marina
  • Preparation for the Second Day on Board
  • Sleeping on Board

DAY 2 (Boat)

  • Tidying Up: Cabins, boat, and toilets
  • Breakfast Preparation
  • Setting Up Table & Drinks
  • Breakfast
  • Tidying Up: Cleaning and preparing all cabins for leaving port
  • Services
  • Lunch Preparation: Serving and drinks preparation
  • Lunch
  • Cleaning Up: Preparations for safe departure
  • Cleaning and Ecology
  • Cocktail Hour: Afternoon cocktail, dessert, coffee
  • Tidying Up
  • Preparation for the Second Day on Board
  • Sleeping on Board

DAY 3 (Boat, Navigation)

  • Boat Checking
  • Tidying Up: Cabins, boat, and toilets
  • Breakfast Preparation
  • Breakfast
  • Tidying Up: Cleaning and preparation of all cabins
  • Leaving Port
  • Anchoring
  • Practical Training
  • Professional Serving: Food and drinks
  • Lunch Preparation: Setting up table, drinks preparation
  • Lunch
  • Tidying Up: Table cleaning and boat preparation for departure
  • Packing of Personal Items
  • Returning to the Marina
  • Preparations for Entering Port and Docking: Ropes and fenders preparation
  • Use of the VHF Radio
  • Entering the Marina
  • Berthing: Knots and communication with the skipper in the Marina

Note to client: 
After successful completion of the course candidate will receive a Hostess on charter boats course certificate.
