Scope (Target audience):
This model course aims to provide the Medical first aid training for candidates to launch and take charge of a refresher Medical first aid, in accordance with requirements of Regulation VI/4, Section A-VI/4 and Table A-VI/4 of the STCW Code as amended and IMO Model Course 1.14.
Objective:
After successful completion of the course the trainees will be competent to apply immediate first aid in the event of accident or illness on board, identify and treat medical emergencies, treat dislocations, fractures, muscular injuries, neck, head and spinal injuries and control bleeding.

Medical First Aid certificate
Note to client:
After successful completion of the STCW Medical first aid course and examination candidates will receive a refresher Medical first aid course certificate.
