Scope (Target audience):
This course provides guidance for all deck officers with immediate responsibility for tank inspection on board tankers. Engine officers are also welcome.
The program can be tailored to specific shipping company operations.

Objective:
This course has been prepared in accordance to IMO Resolution A.1050(27) Revised Recommendations for entering enclosed spaces aboard ships, and IMO Guidelines MSC.1/Circ. 1401 Tank Entry for Tankers using Nitrogen as an inerting medium.

Course Prerequisite:
Tanker Familiarization for Gas, Oil and Chemicals

Note to client:
After successful completion of the course candidates will receive a Tank Inspection certificate.
