STCW Commercial Yachting Certification — approved outside Belgium
Adria Libar is the only training centre outside Belgium approved by the Belgian Maritime Administration to deliver the STCW 500GT Commercial Yachting Certificate of Competency. Your Belgian CoC is recognised by flag state administrations — giving you boarding access to commercially operate yachts up to 500GT, without the cost and complexity of the traditional MCA route.
STCW-compliant, internationally endorsed
The Belgian Commercial Yachting CoC is issued under the STCW Convention. Flag state administrations that are signatory to STCW are obligated to recognise it, giving holders access to vessels registered under multiple international flags.
A more direct certification pathway
The Belgian programme is structured specifically for commercial yachting. Compared to other national systems, the modular approach requires fewer training phases and less time — while meeting the same international STCW standards.
Train in Croatia, certify through Belgium
Complete your training at our Šibenik waterfront centre — equipped with full-mission bridge simulators and dedicated practical facilities — and receive your Certificate of Competency through the Belgian Maritime Administration.
