The Boat Leader Course is a comprehensive training program designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to safely and effectively operate a boats and smaller yachts in open waters. Developed for individuals seeking to assume leadership roles onboard boats and smaller yachts, this course covers a wide range of topics essential for competent seamanship and responsible boat handling.
Objective:
After successful completion of the course the trainees will be competent to handle and manage:
- All types of boats
- All types of yachts up to 30 GT
Course content :
- Navigation (sailing)
- Basic knowledge of motor repairs and maintenance
- Maritime law, meteorology and first aid
- Boat maneuvering and collision avoidance
- Maritime radio communication service
- Safety at sea
Note to client:
After successful completion of the course and examination at the Harbour Office candidates will receive a Boat Leader’s Licence Category C issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of Republic of Croatia.
